Farewell Dinner ” Night of Nostalgia”

As part of our 33rd anniversary of our Bilo Bar Club Reunion, we would like to present to you the Menu for our Farewell Themed Dinner ” Night of Nostalgia“. This menu was put together based on most popular dishes during those good old days.

With this we are requesting members to submit any items that you feel may have that “Nostalgic” feel.

Items such as photos, magazines etc and these will be displayed at Kalevu on the night.

“Night of Nostalgia” Menu

Starters

Braised Lamb And Pumpkin Tortellini

With roasted garlic cream sauce and shaved Parmigianino

or

Prawn Salad

Served on crisp lettuce with light garlic dressing.

or

Seafood Pancakes

Crepes filled with salmon, prawns and fresh squid in lobster cream.

Soups

Lobster Bisque

Cream of Pacific lobster soup flavoured with fine cognac.

or

Rou Rou Soup

Fijian cream of spinach soup with a dash of coconut cream.

Mains

Chicken Kiev

Chicken Breast filled with garlic butter and crumbed Served with dauphin potatoes and green buttered beans

or

Baked O’pakapka Fillet

with fennel and Pernod cream sauce, served with galette potatoes and snow peas.

or

Surf And Turf

Grilled marinated prawn and beef medallion on lobster gravy with a warm pasta terrine and fresh vegetables.

or

Chateaubriand

Prime beef tenderloin, served with croquette potatoes selected fresh vegetables and a red wine or béarnaise sauce.

Desserts

Kalevu Classic Chocolate Mousse

  • Bookings are essential. Seating will be table of 8’s
  • Throughout the evening we will be showcasing the memories of Kalevu
  • There will be a Crepe Suzette tasting display and also Orange Classic Coffees

Dress Code

Dress recommended: Smart Casual

No T-shirts, slippers, shorts or similar attire

The Management reserves the right to refuse entry to any person not suitably attired.
