Over the years, The Bilo Bar Club has tirelessly worked to construct and establish five kindergartens around the resort at; Cuvu, Navuevu, Yadua, Sigatoka and Rukurukulevu. These kindergartens have become safe havens for countless children, offering them a nurturing environment where they can learn, grow, and prepare for a brighter future.
Recently, our dedicated trustees had the opportunity to visit each of these kindergartens and spend time with the passionate teachers who work tirelessly to educate and uplift their young students. It was during these visits that the teachers expressed their deep concern over the lack of essential stationery supplies needed to support the children’s educational journey effectively.
We were moved by their commitment and determination to provide the best learning experience possible for these children, even in the face of limited resources. That’s why we’ve decided to launch this GoFundMe campaign—to raise funds to purchase much-needed stationery supplies for all five kindergartens.
By equipping these kindergartens with sufficient stationery supplies, we aim to empower the children and enhance their educational experience. These supplies will enable them to engage in hands-on activities, practice their writing skills, and foster creativity in a supportive and stimulating environment.
While we strive to source the majority of the supplies from local providers, we also recognise the need to reach out to Australian suppliers to ensure a diverse range of quality materials. By doing so, we can maximise the impact of our efforts and ensure that every child has access to the tools they need to succeed.
